Young Helen Keller with her life-time friend and teacher, Anne Sullivan. Anne have known Helen ever since Helen was seven years old. Helen was born on June 27, 1880 and Anne in April 14, 1866. Helen became deaf and blind as a result of a disease - probably scarlet fever - at age 19 months. I have one half of her disability. I'm deaf myself. I'd rather to be deaf and being capable to see than being hearing and blind. Helen was both deaf and blind so she's an idol. Anne died in 1936 aged 70 and then Helen went in 1968, aged almost 88.




I think Anne here look a bit alike to Tsarina Alix of Russia. You think? :aww:
